$25,000 has been donated to support the Aboriginal Basketball Academy (ABA). The Academy acts as a pathway for Aboriginal Year 10-12 students to develop themselves to participate in a high level basketball program where the emphasis is on attendance, participation, education, personal development, teamwork, leadership and community. All students are mentored to complete schooling at this level and given pathways to higher education and employment. The program is run at St. Clair (Woodville) with students from schools across the metropolitan area attending every Thursday. Information pertaining to the mission and goals of the ABA can be found at https://aboriginalbasketballacademy.com.au/
