Wednesday 4th of June 2014 was a special day for CFK, celebrated at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital with the presentation of a $20,000 donation to the WCH Foundation, our largest ever single donation. This donation means CFK has now donated over $500,000 since it began in 2006.
The presentation was attended by several other charities such as Kidsafe, Police Link, Ronald McDonald House and Guide Dogs, all previous recipients of donations from CFK as well asthe Commissioner of Police. Thank you to the CFK members who came to the presentation and hung around for morning tea.
CFK was also happy to show off its new pull out banners and our own ‘big cheque’.
CFK could not exist without all of the hard work that past and present Committee members have put in and the fantastic support we have received from various businesses such as Katrina Allan Designs, Fox Tucker Lawyers, Deloitte Private, Brumby’s in Mt Gambier and Superfund Accounting Services as well as generous donations from many SAPOL social clubs.
Most of all CFK cannot achieve these fantastic milestones without its members. Thank you everyone.
