On 30 January 2016, Cops for Kids donated $12,000 to Can:Do 4Kids to complete a sensory room at their Welland headquarters. Can:Do 4Kids provide support and assistance to children who are deaf, hearing impaired, blind or vision impaired. The sensory Farm Group Room will be painted in a farm theme with bright colours, tactile animals and a tactile sensory wall. The room is used to run Occupational Therapy Building Blocks and Handy Kids programs. Every week this sensory room will help more than 40 kids to develop fine and gross motor skills, cognitive skills and independent living skills.
