The grand opening of of the completed indoor rock climbing wall at Noorla Yo-Long happened on Tuesday the 9th of February at Rendelsham. The climbing wall was the culmination of multiple sponsors including CFK. We joined efforts with Vareity SA, Lions branches at Naracoorte, Lucindale and Millicent, Mt Gambier Lakes Rotary. Construction was assisted by youth undertaking courses at the Millicent Independent Learning Centre under the instruction of a master builder. The opening was attended by local government Mayors, state politicians and police management.
The climbing wall provides indoor activities for a multitude of youth to help challenge their mindsets and build resilience. Two local schools attended the grand opening with a selection of students who absolutely loved the wall!
