BRIGHTENING THE LIVES OF SICK KIDS
$27,000 ($13,500 per 2 years) to the Starlight Children’s Foundation to support the Captains on Call project for children in the Cystic Fibrosis Unit at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. This is an expansion of the very successful pilot Captains on Call project that assisted children in the Burns Unit several years ago. That project received Australia wide recognition. Cops For Kids funded that program as well!! The Captains will be used to distract children during their treatments and painful procedures.
