CFK has partnered with the Australian Pain Society (APS) and the Australian Pain Relief Association (APRA) in an exciting research grant program to be conducted over the next three years.
We have committed $90,000 ($30,000 per year) to support clinical research exploring various aspects of paediatric pain management – studies that will ultimately lead to improving health outcomes for children. This grant, together with the findings from the research it supports, will form the basis of further research, thus continuing to influence health care development long after our initial donation has been expended.
To the best of our knowledge, nothing like this currently exists in Australia. We are extremely proud to be able to invest in this long term initiative.
