Congratulations go to Deputy Commissioner Grant Stevens and his fundraising team who have now raised over $10,000 for the St Vincent De Paul CEO Sleepout. As per the challenge set down by CFK, we have matched these funds with a $10,000 donation. This puts the total raised by Mr Stevens and his team at over $20,000! What a fantastic effort! All of this money will go to the St Vincent De Paul Children’s Social Equity Fund.
Spare a thought for Mr Stevens as he participates in the sleepout on Thursday night. This event shines a light on the many people either sleeping rough or without proper accommodation – many of which are children.
