CFK have made a $15,000 donation to the Cure 4 CF Foundation to assist their research efforts to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis (CF).
Cystic Fibrosis is a multi-organ disease that affects one in every 2500 children. For children suffering from CF, the major contributing factor to worsening health and early death is loss of lung function due to repeated airway infection and lung tissue damage. Sadly about half of people affected by CF will die by their late 30s from lung disease.
