Lion Hearts Learning support children and their families impacted by cancer, and children with low immunity due to health challenges. Their goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow.
For children who are in the hospital or at home and need to be isolated, receiving fun and educational craft packs can bring much-needed joy and stimulation to their days. The packs are assembled by a small team of volunteers and posted fortnightly to over a hundred children who are currently undergoing or recovering from treatment so that they can have activities to occupy their time and bring a sense of normalcy to their days. www.lionheartslearning.com
Cops for Kids has provided Lion Hearts Learning with $36,672 to fund the 2026 Craft and Education Packs program and committed to fund 50% of costs of the 2027 program to ensure the future security of the program. In short, Cops for Kids support for the next two years will be in excess of $50,000.
