Foodbank – Limestone Coast

Cops for Kids have donated $15,000 to Foodbank Limestone Coast – Food security for struggling and disadvantaged families is particularly an issue in country regions.  Foodbank Mt Gambier will be supplying $30 food vouchers to schools in their areas to be distributed by principals, school breakfast co-ordinators and wellbeing/school councillors to children and families who need it most.  Each voucher can only be redeemed at Foodbank with the voucher being able to recoup approx. $180 value in the Foodbank Hub.  This means our $15K donation will actually provide $90,000 of food for the most vulnerable kids in the South East and will be freeing up monies for these families to use for other vital expenses (Christmas is fast approaching).  Information about Foodbank Limestone Coast can be found at Foodbank SA SCA Limestone Coast
