CFK has donated $17,000 to St Vincent De Paul to build a shade sale over a brand new children’s playground at the St Vinnies Women’s Crisis Centre. This centre is an innovative and integrated accommodation and service facility tailored to meet the short term, emergency needs of women and their children escaping domestic violence crisis (www.vinnies.org.au). This donation was instigated by a CFK member from a group of retired SAPOL members who volunteer at the centre doing garden and maintenance work. Congratulations to this group for their continued community service.
