Starlight Children’s Foundation – Captains on Call Program

CFK has sponsored a two-year program to the Starlight Children’s Foundation to support the Captains on Call project for children in the Cystic Fibrosis Unit at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.  By donating $27,000 over the two years ($13,500 per year), this is an expansion of the very successful pilot project that assisted children in the Burns Unit several years ago.  That project received Australia wide recognition.  Cops For Kids funded that program as well!!  The Captains will be used to distract children during their treatments and painful procedures.  Information about the Starlight Children’s Foundation can be found at www.starlight.org.au
