Cops for Kids has donated $13,500 to the Starlight Foundation to support the Captains on Call project for children in the Cystic Fibrosis Unit at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. This is an expansion of the very successful pilot Captains on Call project that assisted children in the Burns Unit several years ago. That project received Australia-wide recognition. This is the second year of our $27,000 commitment to this program. The Captains will be used to distract children during their treatments and painful procedures.
