On 6 April 2015, Cops for Kids will be part of the Women’s and Children’s Hospital Foundation TeamKids Easter Appeal. The telethon will be televised on Channel 9 from 10:30am to 5:00pm and aims to raise $2,000,000 for the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
As part of the appeal CFK will be donating $10,000 and pre-recorded a presentation of the ‘big cheque’ to be aired during the telethon. Special thanks goes to members of the Mounted Operations Unit and State Tactical Response Group who participated in the filming.
If you want to get involved you can head to Telstra Plaza at Adelaide Oval between 10:30am and 4:30pm on Monday 6 April 2015, for free family fun and entertainment or visit the website to make a donation or bid in their online auction. You can also visit their website for information on events being held all around the state.
